Thanks so much for boiling down a lot of good advice here and encapsulating it in usable form.  It is not a &quot;good idea&quot; or &quot;inventive genius&quot; that makes a person succeed.  It&#039;s research and marketing.  Hardly anyone in the world would not recognize the name Thomas Edison.  Edison had six definitive rules for his invention entrepreneurship.  The key one was market research.  Edison did not pursue the work of &quot;inventing&quot;/developing a product until he could assure himself there was a market for it.</description>
