I had the same problem as Chaz and aweber were not very helpful in getting me any solutions.

Multiple old posts going out to my subscribers is not good.

Chaz or anyone else, if you found a solution let me know.

Good post, once again, you share your points very clearly.

I’ve used AutoResponsePlus for over a year before switching to AWeber. AWeber is so much better, also much easier to use.

Where did you get this comment preview plugin? Looks really cool.

Very good post Derek. I am a huge advocate of the power of autoresponders when trying to build and more importantly maintain lists.

The “story” aspect is something I have never thought about. I might use this in an upcoming “sports” campaign. Thanks

Chaz – no, I haven’t. I don’t use Aweber, I use a server based autoresponder script (Autoresponse Plus). That feature sounds a lot like Feedburner’s email subscription feature.

Reason I was asking is that I had a big problem with many emails being duplicated sending several old posts when I set it up with WordPress auto timestamp. I was just wondering if you or any of your readers have used this feature and had a fix?

Have you ever used Aweber’s auto Blog Broadcast feature? It auto sends an email to your list(s) notifying readers of a new blog post as soon as you make a post.
