I don’t usually like to make excuses or give reasons why I failed to do things. However, since it is has been about 12 days since I last posted, and I had two or three other short absences last month, I guess I will say something.

August was just an incredibly lazy month for me. I ended up going “out of town” multiple times (anywhere from 2 to 4 hours away from my home) for a couple days at a time and also had a handful of family get-togethers. Everything was fun, but I’m disappointed at how little work I actually got done. I just didn’t have much time to sit down and concentrate on internet work.

My lack of work isn’t just within my blogging efforts; I haven’t done any affiliate marketing either. The great thing about it though is that affiliate marketing is pretty passive. Even though I haven’t been doing any work, and consequently haven’t been increasing my income, I have still been making money ;-)

To make up for the lack of posting, my public goal will be to publish at least 30 posts in September. One thing that really motivates me to write more articles is when I get a lot of comments, so if you have a question to ask or something to add to any of my posts, I would love for you to leave one.
